Dominated by my big Dylusions journal. More of that in a minute. On the left you can see several piles of money... I have been doing the scrapbook club end of year accounts....ok ok I know it's February but you see we are going out for our Christmas meal tonight and I need to share out the kitty. We pay £3 a week even if we don't go and then every now and again we share out what's left after expenses. It's not difficult, just time I need that's all. I've even made some little envelopes each to put the money in.
Anyway enough of that. At the back of the desk you will see a new gorgeous heart stamp by Chloe and also 2 new WOW embossing powders.
This is the Valentines card I made for Hubby.... simples......
Lastly I have been playing in my journal... I got the dreaded Dylusions inks out again and kinda threw all the colours at the page. (I'll keep trying!) I found the lovely 'Mother Nature' from Google images and used a lot of my nature stamps. I love how it turned out.... not at all planned, just a faint idea somewhere in my head...it just happened....
Some close ups too see the detail....
Spot the star fish, anemone, butterfly, tree and bird?
Then I had a jolly time stamping and stencilling. Anything I could think of!!! For those of you with children you will recognise the title from the Disney film 'Pocahontas'. If you have never heard this song (Colours of the wind) do google it. It's beautiful.
Well... that's me for this week. Before I go desk hopping I will leave you with this sign I found. I have printed this out and stuck it on the fridge for Hubby in case he finds himself wondering on occasion where his tea is.
Have a happy week
Lynda x
