WOYWW - I'd rather be in my garden.

Hi Everyone

I have had a very stressful few days!  Have you ever thought you might have been responsible for something quite serious, paced the floor in the small wee hours, cups of tea and tears at 5am in the morning. (Frightening poor hubby to death) Then going in to work, confessing and then finding it wasn't your fault after all! Well… that's been me this week and now after today I am totally exhausted with the sheer relief of it all!  Thank you for listening!
I did have a lovely couple of hours with Alison and Lunch Lady Jan yesterday evening for a meal and a lovely chat… you kept me sane girlies.. thank you.

My journal page captures just how I have felt this week…..

I sprayed Dylusions inks for the background and used a flower stencil to add depth. Then I spread texture paste through a CLARITY poppy stencil which is a favourite of mine.

I coloured in the poppies with DIs and and pro markers. The butterflies are Mariposa and the title is done on the computer and cut out.

I really like the way the page turned out. It is exactly how I have felt this week. Stop the world,  I want to get off!

I have been out in the garden with my new camera again and tried (for about an hour) to get both our pets in the same shot…
RESULT!!!

 Have a happy week

  4. Your stressful week does not show in your delightful pieces this week. I love the feel of summer. Poppies are a big thing with me at the moment, I love them so your work this week really struck a cord with me.
