WOYWW - A tangle with zentangle

Hello everyone and welcome,

Well.... quite a lot of crafty time at my desk last week as it was half term and it rained a lot too! It must have been the quickest week in history!

Hmmm... I wasn't supposed to be in this picture but hubby decided to creep up on me. Here's the proper one...

I went back to Hobby craft and bought the laser cut snowflakes...

I inked them with DI inks faded jeans and tumbled glass, added silver ribbon, more snowflakes and a sentiment....

I just LOVE snowflakes...

On my desk you can see my Junk Journal. I was given a zentangle magazine and I decided to have a go! I also used papers from my recent Gelli Plate play.

This is only one half of the planned page but I haven't finished it yet!   I really enjoyed doodling my dangles (pardon the expression) ... or dangling my doodles LOL but if you decide to have a go... a piece of advice.. rest your eyes regularly, take a break, or as sure as your doodles will be a dangling - you'll end up with eyes like this. They should come with a HEALTH WARNING!!!

Sorry about the photo heavy post.   Have a happy week!!!

You do realise, you'll have to stand facing the wall when we meet up so I can recognise the back of your head, lol!!

  5. Nice to meet you Lynda and wow you are seeing LLJ give her a big hug from Yoda and I. Yoda is tucked up in bed in the photo I have just added again, I don't know what happened to the last shot because it was there when I posted it. Thanks for letting me know. He is under the doona and I had to pull it back to find him.

I so love those snowflakes it makes me giggle I have been playing with these same colors over the last few weeks with a snowflakes die and went on the hunt for some embossing powder to match the ink as they don't make a distress embossing powder in tumbled glass. I thought the photo of the cross eyed child was funny.

Have a great week and thanks again.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Happy WOYWW

  6. Hi, Lynda. The snowflake cards are so pretty! The laser cut flakes are beautiful and the added embellishment and ink makes them even more special. Your junk journal page is great, too. Happy WOYWW, and thanks for your visit. ~ Laura #10

  10. I love what you've done with those die cuts! I didn't like the look of the very detailed dies themselves but you've got me tempted now ;-) #44
