Well... how lucky was I this weekend? My friend Ali and I spent a wonderful day at The Stamp Attic in Wantage with Kate doing a Junk Journal workshop! A fabulous day and Kate was inspirational. We made and bound journal completely from JUNK! I can't wait to start playing in it and filling up pages.
I think we'd stopped for cake!
Our finished journals and the lovely Kate.
Here's mine as it stands at the moment. I added the flower and picture when I got home.
You can find Kate at http://thekathrynwheel.blogspot.co.uk/ and see more of her inspirational work!
And of course it would have been rude not to visit the shop across the way. Wow what a great shop. I am soooo glad its miles away from me! I did buy a few things as you can see on my desk.
Some Dylusions stencils, Inca gold for xmas projects, tags and white Dylusions ink. The red tag is one Kate did on saturday when she did an impromptu lesson on inks!
You can also see two Christmas projects using twigs from the nearby park. I was messing about thinking about what the children could make for christmas at school and these are what I came up with.
A small canvas and a tag on the same theme.
Well... thats all from me this week.. except to say a BIG THANKYOU to Ali for organising Saturday and driving all the way to Wantage.
Have a happy week
Hugs Lynda x
