WOYWW - The tale of an Easter bunny.

Hi Everyone,

Let me share with you an Easter tale…..

Once upon a time there was happy crafter who knew that she would probably recieve some very special hand made Easter cards from her friends. Knowing she really should reciprocate, but not having any Easter stash of her own she started to feel rather panicked.  So she decided to look at magazines for inspiration and lo and behold after many nights of searching, she found the perfect idea in issue 60 of Paper Crafter.

However this did not solve the problem of NO Easter stamps or stash.
The next day she went out shopping to Marks and Spencer and there amongst the delightful Easter confectionary she spotted something that made her heart soar. A little bunny tin filled with tiny eggs.

Never mind the chocolate , it was the TIN she was interested in!  In her excitement she bought two and overwhelmed with possible ideas, clutching her tins tightly, she ran all the way home (well… drove) completely forgetting to buy food for supper!

Yes ok ok there's two eggs missing in the picture! Eating the eggs made her think better…

Anyway back to the story, she ran upstairs and ignoring her husband's/dog's/ cat's  pleas to be fed she set to work making her cards. Her husband gave up waiting for his tea and went to the chip shop and luckily was on hand to feed the poor starving dog and cat. The crafter came downstairs a few hours later very happy and pleased with herself proudly holding aloft the said cards, her husband sighed, shook his head and shrugged his shoulders, the animals fell fast asleep and they all lived happily ever after.

Happy Easter!

  4. Oh Lynda! What a lovely story! I can imagine you were excited. You now have some very special beautiful cards and they will be totally unique as nobody has the templates you have! Well done.
I'd completely forgotten about 1 April!
    Thanks for visiting earlier.
Have a great week and Happy Easter!

  5. That is the best story. The only bit I don't get is why it only took two little eggs to refuel the crafter. Love the resultant card and can almost hear Mr b rolling his eyes as he goes off to fetch chips!

  6. Lynda what a brilliant story, I loved every word of it and it gave me a smile so big. I love your cards they are brilliant and I love the process. At least hubby had the sense to go to get takeaway and feed the animals. LOL I hope you have a wonderful Easter.

    Happy WOYWW
